You've been complaining about Rivian and the reception you received here since post #1. If you communicate with your guide this way it's truly no surprise why they stopped responding.

Rivian R1
The most important among all the announcements at the summit is the company’s plans for the R1. The carmaker looks all set to become profitable by H2, 2024, which will come at the back of the success of the R1 lineup and the van. While the exact number of pre-orders has not been disclosed, McDonogh announced that all the orders taken prior to the price increase in March will be completed by mid-2023. As for the orders post the price increase, the deliveries extend “well into 2024.” The top executive further revealed that the carmaker currently doesn’t plan to increase the base price of the R1. The CFO further notes that the company plans to manufacture 85,000 vehicles per annum by 2026.
Are you willing to pick up at the plant in Normal? Customer service has advised that as soon as I get my guide I need to let them know I am picking up at the plant. CS (for what it is worth) advised that if I can pick up at the plant, I should get a very quick turn around for delivery, BUT that is ONLY after I can get my guide. If you let them know you can pick up at the plant AND are flexible with your configuration, I'd wager you get a very quick turn on your order.Just came here to complain and get a few things off of my chest. I reserved an R1s Nov 2019 and I am still waiting... I have had my date extended multiple times...and I'm seeing my friends , who have ordered after me, get access to the R1s shop. Am I doing something wrong? Should I not be so nice to my guide ? He has done well at first but now I get no communication.
By the way , I have no idea how Rivian chooses delivery by location as I live 2.5 hours away from the manufacturing plant ; in a metropolitan area of 2.2 million people.
I recently saw an email from Rivian.....Woohooo, I thought. Nope, they want me to contact my senator in order to defeat legislation in their favor...Hmmmm, not gonna happen.
Other people have gotten yelled at for doing that and the one person I am thinking of still doesn't have their 2018 R1T reservation yet.Blind attempt to try to speed things up, I changed my delivery address to the Rivian plant on my configuration.
I do have down to pickup at the factory. I’m excited about the tourI would suggest calling Rivian Customer service and asking for a support lead. Explain to them that you are a long time reservation holder and not getting accurate timeline information from your guide and ask if they can enable shop access for you.
Other than that, you are at the mercy of Rivian's dark art of reservation fulfillment. You aren't the first person to watch their neighbor get a truck before you despite having a an earlier reservation date. Nobody here can tell you why or tell you what steps you can take to increase your odds of fulfillment because none of us have any clue how Rivian determines these things despite what they say in their communications.

I'll be happy to get yelled at as that might open up the communication channel. I've tried nicely a couple of times to ask for shop access and CS has advised me that "if they could, they would". They have told me both time they (CS) don't have the ability to get folks shop invitations and that it was an automatic thing. I've seen that it's not true, but no point in arguing.
