Mine was a 60' run in an unfinished basement, so for 6AWG and 60A circuit (48A delivery as default IAW Rivian wall charger specs), was $750. 6AWG wire costs roughly $5 a foot in my area.
Damn, I just got quoted $3100 for a ~80ft run. That's about $500 of wire and an insane amount for labor despite relatively few holes being needed (drop ceiling). Time to find another electrician.
As mentioned previously installing a wall connnector is basic for an experienced electrician. No special skills required other than reading install instructions. Setting up the wall connector depending upon the brand can be a bit challenging setting dip switches and connecting to the device Wi-Fi as it broadcasts its own Wi-Fi SSID and password for the initial setup. Once again need to read the instructions thoroughly. Good luck
