Been there friend. I had some serious "what the hell am I doing" jitters a few days out. Even asked my wife (who I have annoyed ad nauseum) if I was crazy for buying the truck. That feeling lasted through delivery and right up until I really drove the piss out of it in the mountains.Whew! I'm getting delivery anticipation jitters now. Stoked...but don't want to join the "bitching about this and that" club.
Blessings, brother. I'm looking forward to joining the tribe!Been there friend. I had some serious "what the hell am I doing" jitters a few days out. A week from now you'll just be in love and those jitters will seem like a distant memory.
Shop configs are not built for the shop but they are typically units somebody didn't take or deliver or for whatever reason so they could be whatever config the previous owner wasThey have shop configs with all weather floor mats when they're backordered probably through the rest of this year? I thought shop configs were supposed to be the most readily-available builds.
I hope all goes well tomorrow. We are expecting a report with photos. You were right...well, I'll know tomorrow. Why did I wake up at 5:00am today?? Oh yeah, it's Xmas Eve - Rivian Style.
LOL, yessir! I'm gonna have the wifey take a vid while we go through the intro process. I know it will be too much for me to retain. I'll probably post it to YouTube for your "enjoyment" (at the risk of making a fool out of myself...wouldn't be the 1st time).I hope all goes well tomorrow. We are expecting a report with photos.
You'd best be ready my friend. I was supposed to be on Bear Lake through the weekend. That suddenly changed when I got the notice. I did have the option to change delivery time...but, HELL NO!!Good luck! I'm kinda in your boat now. I had my VIN assigned last week. Guide told me the truck was being transported to my local SC, could be two weeks, but is often faster. No updates since then, so it's either still in transit or my local SC is just so busy they haven't had a chance to even look at my truck yet. I'm very anxiously awaiting that text to schedule my delivery.
Oh, yeah, my family and I have a trip next week, Mon-Fri about 200 miles away. I'm feeling reasonably confident I'll get the call while we're away and there'll be nothing I can do except wait it out. haha. You'd best be ready my friend. p.s. - maybe I'll try a beach launch of the boat in a few weeks! LOL (in reference to the now famous/infamous YouTube making the rounds).
This is where I'm at right now.....time to sign the contract.....nervous/excited and lots of other emotions going on.Been there friend. I signed the contract and actually wired funds. I think this helped with my "expedient" delivery. Who knows?? I'd sign the contract if I were you and if you're really ready. This is where I'm at right now.....time to sign the contract.....nervous/excited and lots of other emotions going on.
