Small update today - we ended up finding another vehicle nearby that was EXACTLY the same build as mine. So it's getting shipped here and hopefully I will take delivery next week. In the meantime I'm getting very familiar with my loaner... I've decided to name it "the green monster".

Me too! I literally have never even laid eyes on the original VIN before haha. So fingers crossed it is better! The 2 VINs are very close. They were probably built within a few days of each other, if not on the same day!

The Launch Green color that that is being discussed is very reminiscent of the color that U.S. Mail trucks were painted in the 1950's and before. The mail boxes were also painted this color in those days.

Well good news, I FINALLY have my R1S! And I'm so happy to have it! After driving a gen 1 for 2 and a half weeks... Wow. I am in LOVE with my new R1S. Once I've had a few more days to get a feel for all of the changes I'll be posting a thread diving deep into the changes that I've noticed. Already I've noticed quite a few changes that no one has mentioned on any of the millions of YouTube videos I've seen or threads I've read about Gen 2 changes
