Surprised no one said phone yet. That’s what I use it for. When I’m not charging, it’s vertical. When it’s charging, it’s horizontal lol
The third response and the reply two spots before yours both said phone. I put my their too sometimes. The key fob. A pen. Any number of my 5 year olds little toys. McDonalds hashbrowns. My work ID. A pocketknife. A pen light. Lots of things.

My wife leaves her used plastic toothpicks... Kills me... ?
Gross. Should definitely ban your wife from the vehicle. Does she put her dirty hobo bare feet on the dashboard and smear her greasy toes all over the inside of the windshield too????

I picked up the Adventure High Tech Stow ‘n Charge unit and am now able to use the larger cubby for items such as glasses, keys, cards, money, etc.; AND have a much higher output (and reliable) wireless charger for two phones.
This! So much more functional than the original coffee spill catching cubby!

Speeding tickets. ?

Ok, I was just joking. Nothing really, because my phone is usually taking up half that space while charging. I have a s00nish charging pad, so that space is even larger for me.

We put a pen in there. It lays in there out of sight but is easily accessible by pushing on one end of pen the other end pops up.

I store the key to the exterior electrical cabinet where my 240v outlet and portable charger live.

Driving home from work today and this thread popped in my head. Grabbed my sunglass cleaning rag and it worked pretty good there.
