They use them as loaners. Like seajayseven, I've also had loaners.

Obviously they aren't selling returned cars as new. There are lots of ways to use them as well as eventually opening up a pre-owned online store.

I could be wrong, but I’d don’t think service centers are offering Rivian loaners at present. Perhaps there have been no returns? It would be nice to eventually get a Rivian loaner.

100% wrong, I had a loaner a couple weeks back with manufacturer plate.

Just curious has anyone actually heard of anyone returning a vehicle under this program? I have not heard of any on three different forums I have been following.

While resale values are still higher than purchase price you’d be crazy to just return it.

I was thinking the same thing. Until I considered the $7,500 tax rebate that I would NOT get from a used EV purchase. Considering this, selling a barely used EV as new would be doing the buyer a huge favor, as long as everything was fully disclosed.
