What is going on with the rivian mapping app????

Added this to our service ticket for Gen 2 R1S. Multiple resets with no change. In service now. Haven’t seen it happen on our Gen1 and it’s not happening on the Gen1 loaner we got. No word yet on potential fixes.

My software reboot fixed this issue once. It returned yesterday after several weeks right after I “sent” a destination from Google maps to the Rivian navigation. Just documenting it here in case the software patchers troll this forum.

Post service update: Had this issue on our ticket (1 of many) Gen2 R1S. Service solution was to ‘reset 12v system’—-so essentially a hard reset. They acknowledged that this was a short term fix and it is a know firmware issue that will need to be resolved in an upcoming OTA update. No timeline on when that was going to be.

Mine was fixed and now it’s not again after a week - ugh -reset time again

What is going on with the rivian mapping app for the last 2 weeks? Whenever I put in a destination or use it it zooms all the way out to the United States and then you can't re-center or zoom in on anything

Mine routed me to Canada with added stops along the way. Did a full reboot, seemed to fixed the problem temporarily, then had to reboot again which worked.. I’m guessing it’s from the last software update..
