That I don’t have my R1T yet.

but that’s not really anyone’s fault.
Can‘t really complain about a global pandemic and the knock-on effects thereof delaying my $130k luxury toy.
A pandemic and supply chain issues they knew of when giving dates out last quarter.

I voted OTHER.

I'm pissed that they haven't given an R1T to a performance driver to test on Nürburgring Nordschleife and establish an official time. We deserve to know, dammit!!!

Everybody in every corner of the manufacturing world has known there are these uncontrollable variables for two years.

My point is that they should be able to predict two months out. If uncertain then be more conservative with the estimate. They have had time to make some adaptations.

It's such a mixed bag... I'm still most upset about Rivian ever stating MSRP/Max Pack would get you your order first. ?

But as far as the vehicle goes the R1T's steering wheel was my biggest disappointment. When I saw the preproduction vehicles and then jumped behind the wheel to drive the R1T in Normal, I was immediately sadden by the shape/size (too small) of the steering wheel. It just bugs me that this is what my hands will be on and eyes will see everyday.

By no means a deal breaker, but of all the vehicles I've owed I feel it's steering wheel is my least favorite and extremely underwhelming.

After that it's the lack of a real 3D whole vehicle camera system, and video screen rearview mirror. They 100% should have something similar to JLR see through bonnet/hood tech.

But again... My Model S wasn't perfect, but I loved that car none the less, and it had a great big massive/substantial steering wheel which I loved.

I'll pass on the 18-wheeler-sized steering wheel, thanks. I have never had a complaint about steering wheel size in any vehicle I've ever driven... that honestly baffles me.

How come the survey did not have a "None" response?

Biased from the start...

If I am sourcing components I don’t just go “well they’re just going to delay my order even more than we’re already expecting anyway so I’ll kick the dates out further.“ have to balance optimism - the vendor says the components are on a given schedule, and forecast from that basis - with realism: an unforeseen delay is possible and the schedule may shift, no matter how much one tries to plan for a delay. The current environment is even more tenuous than it normally is.

So they’ve likely already adapted scheduling to anticipate things are delayed. But sometimes there are delays beyond what’s expected. Especially now.

Besides the obvious issues of terrible communication and delivery delays.....the lack of a physical volume control knob on the center dash is a huge complaint of mine.

I know it may seem minor and "I will get used to it", and I'm sure I will...I will have to. But that doesn't mean it was the right decision by Rivian and doesn't mean I can't and won't be annoyed by that decision.

Every time I adjust the volume in my current vehicle, I can't help but think about how frustrating this is going to be in my future Rivian....so, yeah, I'm thinking about Rivian's silly decision basically 20 times a day, everyday.

You still have physical volume control. The left scroll wheel on the steering wheel adjusts the volume. You won't even need to take your hands off the wheel to make an adjustment. Only passengers will have to make do with the screen for changing volume.

My Tesla I control the volume on the steering wheel, you can do that on the Rivian as well.
