I recommend watching Valley Uprising first, then watching Free Solo. Valley Uprising shows the history of rock climbing in Yosemite Valley, and it ends with a few of the modern free solo guys, including Alex. The sport has evolved, but it's always been way too nuts to be anything I would try!

I'd second Valley Uprising and would add The Dawn Wall too before watching Free Solo. Tommy Caldwell makes an appearance in FS and DW introduces you to his story. They're all crazy good!

I predict we will see the interior "story" posted to the Rivian blog. It will contain mostly the information we already know, have some new pictures, but they'll all be very similar to the prototype photos we've already seen for the last 2 years (which is good IMO!). Maybe they'll mention the Bluetooth speaker and have a photo of it.

A handful of people from the forum will be contacted by guides, but it will only be an introduction, and all substantial questions will be answered with "we'll know closer to production". Maaaybe if we're lucky we'll some VINs assigned, but the pessimist in me is saying that doesn't mean anything really.

I suspect that Rivian is having both supply issues and troubles nailing down some final aspects of the vehicle. Maybe they found some significant (hardware, since software can always be updated later) problem they had to work around last minute? It's crazy to me that they have so many test vehicles on the road if production really is supposed to be happening so soon. Personally, I'd rather have the delays though rather than them shipping a bad product. I also suspect they've intentionally waited a little bit to release any new good info because they don't want to be drowned out by the Ford/Lucid media coverage currently going on.

CS agent I spoke with said that the guides will reach out (via email) to the preorder holders who meet the criteria of order date, configuration, and location this week.

I didnt want to mention anything because I don't want to seem stalkerish but I counted several Major west coast members going into Normal on Tuesday. Somethings happening? I hope.

Why they don't tell us something is happening on XYZ around ABC time, I have no idea.

Im guessing... we are getting a Progress Report video as a result in the next couple weeks. Like they used to have.

Anyone here get anything meaningful from CS asking about the next update aside from the customary 4 letter word we all know too well?
