Idk if it's because I'm in the technical field and am just cursed, or if I conveniently have a knack for finding bugs on my first drive immediately after every update...

The phone button in the new business details pane inside maps (like to call a business) does absolutely nothing. How did that pass any software QA?

And now, when the truck wakes it just claims there's no data... For anything. Full signal and phone works fine. Maps results won't load and media apps won't play. Wait forever, eventually you'll get wrong map search results and media might play, but otherwise the Tidal app looks like this (media is playing, but progress bar does nothing, play/pause/previous/skip do nothing or buttons just straight missing, broken album art:

What the heck do I do with that???

Yes, I did both resets. Soft fixed nothing, hard fixed Tidal and Map search, not calling.

I'm not an advocate of ACP or AA in these cars, but then good God, you better be perfect...

Makes sense why Connect+ is free for now, because they need every second to fix issues like these.

Try doing a soft reset. I've had my fair share of AA bugs too.

Have you contacted Rivian support? Sometimes updates expose flaws in hardware. I haven't noticed any issues at all with data post the 2024.31 update.

No. Reporting bugs here gets better results.

I have noticed no issues with the update- seems to be confined to you.
So you can search for a business within maps, then hit the phone icon to call said business, and it works?

On .27, my PAAK went completely MIA. Four out of five times it wouldn’t open the truck. I’m not talking about having to wait awkwardly for it, it just refused in spite of detecting the proximity. I could open the gear tunnel door but the rest of the truck stayed locked indefinitely and could only be opened from the app. New behavior in the two+ years I’ve had the R1.

The screens seem much slower to respond in the last few updates, especially when switching between apps.

The ability to see my appointments in the app has also been lost in the last few app versions.

So I agree, they need to do better in this department. My hope is that their focus will sOOn shift from pushing out 90% of the most-asked-for and promised features to streamlining and squashing bugs.

I haven't tried searching in the new Nav App since the last update however, since I've been using Apple Music since the .27 Update I do realize that I can get the music going, then as I pull away from the house, it will stop, and I'll have to restart it. I've always thought the cause of this is I'm losing signal as I transition from my house WiFi to Cellular data and there's not enough in the buffer yet. Once on Cell data, it works as designed.

Possible you may have the same type of issue? Just throwing that out there.

This issue actually tends to happen when I wasn't using a WiFi network to begin with. I was out, truck was asleep, and when it woke up it just did nothing. The pic was taken half way home when it finally just started playing.

The Tidal bug you're showing vexed me through 3 software updates, but has finally corrected itself.

When I logged the bug, no one was able to see an error in the logs to trace it back.

If you file a service request, please let us know the results.

No..no it absolutely does nothing, other than helps you feel better.

Rivian is trolling the forums for copyright/trademark/IP theft claims. Otherwise, I verily wouldn't expect (nor have I ever witnessed) any type of feedback making it to or being resolved because it was posted here.

I think the BEST I've seen are the occasionally Wassym AMAs on Reddit bearing some type of fruit. That's the absolute extent of it. I'd be HAPPY if someone could show me otherwise.

Bottom line: report through the Rivian App, or assume NO ONE knows anything more than you do.

I think your assumption is accurate, before .27 the home WiFi dropped when shifting into drive, now it drops after I leave the driveway and I get a signal pause in Spotify.
