My R1S has been flawless. My early adopter R1T had a few service tweaks in the first 5,000 miles, but nothing in the last 35,000. My 2023 Tesla Model Y, had two failures in the first week. Glad we got rid of that turd....

Only "not my fault, not a recall check" service I've needed at 20,000 miles is 12V battery failure.

Low 3,000 VIN R1S... no car fault issue or recall service so far at 31,000 miles.

Love this vehicle. Maybe I was lucky. Maybe there are more like me that don't need to vent and otherwise aren't the type to post much. Just went in for comprehensive inspection. They found no issues. I think I'm taking this thing to 500,000.

I'm coming up on 2 years in and about 20k miles and I haven't had a single mechanical issue.

My R1T is an early unit (40XX) however, so it had some bedding in things that needed to be adjusted. Misaligned door, panel between the windshield & roof glass, and triangle window thing is pretty much about it. Recall stuff too. Do all of those count? I'd say nay.

Comparatively, I owned a very early Model S -- VIN 10XX. Tesla had it for over a month my first year. The experience was worlds different.

@1stPlace is currently in 1st place! For some reason that doesn't seem surprising.

I'm at 46k+ with only very minor issues. I'm very impressed with Rivian's service. I've heard stories from other owners about problems they've had and how honorably Rivian handled them. Definitely reserving that R3X asap.

1.5 years, 17K flawless miles in R1T. Minor door adjustment and the recalls. Nothing else. Amazing truck. Totally love it!

I’m at 22,000 miles at 18 months in the R1T (Forest Green and Ocean Coast). Both screens failed on Day 1 which were serviced immediately. Not one problem since then, including the powered tonneau cover working each time.
This is opposed to our 2021 Audi Q8 which has had 4 recalls and had to have the engine replaced!!!

I'm at 8500 miles with no issues at all except a front sensor that had to be replaced last month during my 7500 mile scheduled check up. They think some debris must have hit it on the highway.

I am at 40,000 miles and 20 months and have had no issues other than triangle window adjustment for air leak and regular re-call adjustments. My experience with service has been excellent. They always get me a rental car. I LOVE THIS TRUCK. Best truck i have ever owned.
