Why doesnt Rivian leave voicemails?

Whenever Rivian calls me for any service related issues, they never leave voicemail. Instead they seem to wait an extended period of time and try again.

Why not a name and a number so i can call back immediatly as soon as I can? Or a text with a name and number for me to call back. Or an email. Or anything...just playing whack a mole with my availability with call attempts isn't real productive or timely.

Is this some type of training they have that I just dont understand? Is this the prefered way by others and I need to see the light?

I get the efficiency on their side...let the automated dialer system try me again and if i pick up, send it to a adviser, but if not, throw it back to the automated dialer for a while. But at least from my point of view, if I want to keep things moving with my truck, I have to excuse myself from something more important than my vehicle, to get the call, or risk keep missing it all day.

Because if they leave a message, they have to expect a call back. They are simply too busy to do that.

Tesla simply text you with a message. If you reply, they will get back to you within a short period of time but they don't have to take the call whey you call.

I have gotten voicemails from Rivian service to follow up on ticket request.
Maybe I have just had bad luck. Will cross fingers for future! Glad to hear it isn't a way of doing business.

I don't think it is a bug. I get roughly 12-15 voicemails a day and from 12-15 different organizations and systems. But I will keep in mind. Maybe change where they call me to a different number and system.

How long is your voicemail greeting? I don't recall any other places calling me that force the disclaimer before you even get someone on the other end. could be some kind of an issue related to that.

How long is your voicemail greeting? I don't recall any other places calling me that force the disclaimer before you even get someone on the other end. could be some kind of an issue related to that.

I wanna know why they always call at 7:30pm on a Friday. I have selected mornings as best contact time but without fail, they call me on Friday evening while I'm trying to park for dinner or something.

Oh, and they do leave VMs if I don't answer.

Generational probably. My teenage sons don't use voicemail, period. I get its frustrating but they should use the App instead, easier to manage the communication.

I don't remember if I've had messages left or not, honestly. However I won't answer the phone unless I know the number or it has what appears legitimate caller id. So if a business wants to reach me they do need to get in the habit of leaving messages or provide me their contact info up-front.
