Will R2 have a rear wiper?

Yeah, we had a 4th Gen, loved it, Limited AWD had the optional V8.

Anyway, yeah, ours had this sort of design for the rear wiper (and obviously a rear window that opened/closed)

It’s clearly possible to do both. I’m not sure why all of these companies (Tesla, Hyundai, Rivian) are trying to remove the rear windshield wiper. I guess to cut costs. Hyundai put it back on the new Ioniq 5.

Hyundai put it back on the new Ioniq 5.

Ioniq 5 never had it from the beginning, so many owners complained and they listened....Imagine that! Hyundai added a few buttons that most people want more of too.

With the near vertical angle of the R2 back glass, it would be insane for Rivian to not to have a rear wiper!

I wonder if rivian considered a wiperless setup that would instead blow hot air from the top down on to the glass
