I'm joining the calling BS Bandwagon.I'm holding off 6 months for PPF per my colleague's recommendation who also is a detailer who's adamant that PPF not be applied until the factory paint is *fully cured* no earlier than 6 months.
BOTH PPF installers I've used wanted the car driven straight to their shop from the dealership.
Why? Because 1- much less likely to come with preexisting damage from DRIVING IT. 2- No need for paint correction at that point.
In the 3 days it took me to get to the detailer with my R1T, I'd already picked up a nice rock chip gouge in my front 'grille' area (in addition to the blemish that was on it from delivery).
