Got my windows tinted (Xpel XR Black) last week and to my surprise the tint does _not_ go below the interior door gasket, see the picture below. To other that have gotten their R1's tinted, does your window tint on the windows that roll down extend below the interior window seal?

Either way, yes or no, can you also share what brand you have for tint? As my tint person has already said he will redo this window, no problem, but that this is just the way the template is from Xpel, and it may not go past the interior gasket. This was a surprise to me. Are the window gaskets on Rivians just different? In my past cars (Model 3 and Audi A4) the tint has gone past this interior seal, and I never gave it a second thought. Looking to see what other's tint installs are like to get an idea if this is normal or not. Thanks!

Yes, the tint should be roughly 10mm below the window gasket/sweeps. Sounds like the shop may have used a template cut and didn't double-check the measurements. Ask to have it re-done, or get your money back.
