It's funny because I thought the same thing.

It wont change anything, but I'm personally of the mind that PHEV is something one plugs in at home for day to day. Their charge rate is so pitiful that it shouldn't be something that's really ever plugged in on trips away from home. That said. I would likely plug one in if I had one at a hotel or stop over to save money on gas. So, I can see both sides.

Not plugging in, is ridiculous though. It's like stopping at a busy gas station and parking at a pump, to only go inside, use a washroom and then buy random snacks.

More hotels should collect license plate info for this & other reasons.

every hotel ive stayed at in recent memory collects make/model/plate, to deal with people poaching their parking spaces.
