Yakima Skybox 21 - Will it fit on roof

In case anyone is still wondering about this, I just put my Yakima Skybox 21 on an R1S... it fits but just barely. There's only a cm or two of clearance when the tailgate is open and the cargo box is as far forward as the clamps allow. I couldn't use the forward two crossbar points because the cargo box wouldn't reach those.

A smaller box is a better fit for the R1T in my opinion: for example a Thule Vector M

To my eyes, it fits the proportions and styling of the R1T better than the much larger alternatives.

One does, of course, give up a good bit of cargo volume on this one. But on the upside, the impact on range should be smaller, wind noise should be reduced, and the overall look is better (in my opinion.)

Backwards over the bed might be a better efficiency option if it isn't in the way over other things, but not sure how much it would hang past the tailgate?
