Your experience with service?

Rivian service had me sign a work order that had estimated costs and said service mechanics will decide if it is under warranty or will charge.
service could not tell me over the desk.
Is this normal?
Was previously in service for new subframe. Asking them to fix, misaligned steering wheel, dripping coolant, broken cowl clips.

I had an issue last month where all of my warning lights went on and I lost my power steering. Luckily I was not in a place where I was in danger. I did a hard reboot of the R1T (LEFT button and HAZZARD) and it generated an error log that I reported to Rivian. They scheduled a service call for my truck with a note that an estimate is pending. Have not heard back if someone actually looked at the log entry.

This is normal. In my recent service appointment (over the weekend), the determination was that my problem was covered by warranty and I was charged $0. Thank you to Matt and the service team in South San Francisco for handling this matter very satisfactorily.
