Launch Green with 20’s. I was sold on the cloud interior but the more I look at the black interior, there are lots of lighter accents like the wood and I LOVE the black headliner especially keeping it nice when camping.

Yeah I'm not too concerned about getting the LE. If I can get a LE great, but i want to make sure I get the color combination I want. I have no need to tow and I'm certainly not going to pay extra for autonomy.

I think that’s a good direction. Forest Green and Coastal Cloud Interior won’t be available until late 2026. Borealis isn’t coming until 2027, so I’m not sure it will be available on the Launch Edition anyway. More than likely on the Performance trim that will replace it, minus A+, towing, and key fob. What color combo were you hoping for?

EVs aren’t really great at towing anyway, so no love lost there. Sounds like a plan. You might be able to save some money with a Premium. I think that’s the direction I’m leaning. I like those 20” Bicolor Carbon All-season wheels and it’s much easier to find a variety of tires for 20” wheels vs. 21”.

Will the launch edition still exist when the coastal interior becomes available? That's the only option I'm picking on my LE, I genuinely like the free silver color the best out of the available ones. I'd only swap it for a FJ Cruiser yellow if it was available.

I have a theory that if a lot of people wait and the take rate isn’t that good for the LE they’ll quickly have the premium model and coastal cloud interior available. Depends on how many people take the dive for the LE. Not having coastal cloud for LE I think is a much bigger deal for a lot of people than not having borealis or forest green.

I have coastal cloud in my R1T and I love it. I wanted the same being that I have always had black interiors prior, and have black in the other two vehicles I own. I was very disappointed that it wouldn't be in launch.

But... It's not enough to hold me back. I'll probably go with the LE then wait for them to release Rivian Green (basically Launch Green) as a color on the R2 and trade in at that time to get the color combo I want. There's no guarantee the the LE will ever have coastal cloud and I also want launch green, so there's that.

Since Forrest Green is delayed and was a toss up between em… This is the wife’s spec! Would have waited for the premium pkg but cost difference is negligible and the added std features make it an easy jump!

My guess is that 2027.5 Performance gets inbound upgrades at current pricing but w/out free LE stuff. LE goes away when 2027.5 Performance and Premium launch, add Coastal Cloud & delayed colors, etc.

What are you looking at? Catalina cove is blue and there are only 2 greens not 3. No red though.

We will get catalina cove with coastal cloud interior as soon as it is available - hopefully an LE. No way my wife will go for the black interior. We have the ocean coast interior on my R1T and love it.

I want the rwd version...but with heated seats and steering wheel.
Which as far as I could tell is not an option, yet anyway. Guess I'll be waiting a while, which is fine.
