You are correct. $1000 does not make any difference. For me it is not about getting pissed and trying to communicate that to Rivian. It is a business that is about numbers like most and wouldn't care the least how I feel about this. It is just when you know the new price is just too much for you, what is the point of waiting. It just gives Rivian wrong information about the number of reservations they have as well. The thing is even if I do down with specs to keep the price low and wait until 2024, I know now for sure there is no guarantee I will get what I see on my screen. I think the idea of long wait for any car is not a good one. When Rivian is caught up with their reservation, you can get one the same day or at most in a month for the price you see is the time to get it. The bugs are worked out and process and specs are hammered out. What happened here comes with the territory. It just happened to be a territory I am not well suited to play in. Overall I am glad this update happend now otherwise 2022 would have been an unnecessay wait. All that said, you are right. Impulse decisions are not usually good. I will sleep on it a bit longer.I understand those who aren't going to change their config until the pricing updates in the hopes they get grandpersoned in, but I definitely don't understand anyone cancelling impulsively unless you really need that $1,000
