HA! I used them too in a job I had in college writing database (DBase!) software! They were the size of phonograph records and I think only 10MB. Ahhh the good ol' days!

I’m not assigning blame in any way. It’s human nature, and when we start throwing around TLAs* it’s a commom occurrence! I just wanted to point out that there wasn’t any intentional FUD and hopefully show why/how.

I am an IT guy with a liberal arts degree so I tend to focus on clearly communicating expectations, requirements, and explanations between tech people and regular people. I am sure I come across as utterly devoid of humor in most of these posts because I tend to focus on these communications and I occasionally go into excruciating detail+ about things. Sorry!
