Automatic window reset procedure?

Seems my windows go down with 1 touch, but not up. Anyone heard of the procedure to reset them? I know for many vehicles we have to hold it closed and open for a few seconds. Asked my guide. Waiting for a reply.

Edit- service helped. Hold open 5 seconds, hold closed 5 seconds. Done. Repeat on each window.

Totally making this up, but....
It might be a safety thing. The system may force you to maintain contact with the switch so you can't one-touch-activate it and get something pinched (like a childs arm or dog's head) that happens to be sticking out.

This is the case for lots of cars. But not the R1T.

RTFM = Read The F'ing Manual.

I believe that means "Read The Free Manual" for the truck (maybe Free isn't the right word.)

do a soft reset of the vehicle, its in the troubleshooting portion of the manual. I think its hold the left steering wheel button and the SOS button for several seconds (double check the manual first). That might resolve your issue

Got it. Service explained, easy. Hold open and closed 5 seconds each. Have to repeat on every window.

This was a QT miss at my repair shop for quite a while until we added it as a priority.

I still have this occasionally happen to my 2016 Ram.
