In their podcast Kyle said they were unable to get a Taycan there on time.Where’s the Taycan?
In their R1T "wrap" video (I think) they mention Porsche could supply only a Taycan, not a turbo S, and there was some other logistical obstacle..Most of these matchups are silly. Where’s the Taycan?
Or in Conserve mode against the 6-sec plus cars.Maybe after the first few races they should have started running the R1T in reverse ?‍![]()
I can't remember which one, but at least one was actually run in conserve.Or in Conserve mode against the 6-sec plus cars.
That's a classic Top Gear story – Model X does 200 miles on pavement, R1T does 100 miles climbing up and over a mountain and down to the other side arriving in a cloud of dust just in time to see Model X arrive in FSD, park and the driver happens to be already out of the car and uses Summon to park the Tesla beside the Rivian …What we need now is a Top Gear/Grand Tour style race. A luxury SUV vs. R1T starting on the road, then have them split. The SUV continues on-road while the R1T goes off-road to a destination.
