If you are on Android, you can pause the app. This would let you keep BT on and working but disable any functions the Rivian app is using BT for, when you're done just unpause the app. I don't know if iOS has a similar feature but if you look into digital wellbeing or whatever for either platform there is typically a way to "pause" or disable apps temporarily.Not an option for me because while I'm in the garage my Bluetooth headset is how I take calls and listen to podcasts and whatnot. And btw, it's not just the garage, if I walk in the room above the garage, or the kitchen which is three walls and 20' away from the car it still unlocks and locks the car. I would have to just turn Bluetooth of permanently on my phone which is not really an option.
