Would love it if Rivian offered something like the gear tunnel pullouts that are on the service tech truck. Really interested in something like that, or pullout "compartments" that are similar in shape to the camp kitchen sections but bins instead of kitchen components. I'm worried about things rolling around in the gear tunnel while driving when it isn't packed full.

What? That's confusing to me as well... How can they not be able to change a tire...

They should give me the latest OTA early...I'm well known for touching things and breaking them in unexpected ways ?.

But in all seriousness, I do want to get my paint and chip issues resolved quicker...and that's the part they are trying to figure out what to do. I'm guessing they are trying to find a body shop to fix.
I think it is something with the TPMS sensor.

Please let us know should you find out more about this issue. We really need to know if a local Tire Rack (for example) can't readily change a Rivian tire effectively.

Here's hoping you have an approved body shop in the area....mine is 4.5 hours away in Dallas. What kind of issues do you have?

Unfortunate to see that. Hopefully they are a quick fix up.

The first few would annoying me for sure, I would probably not even notice the rest.

Surprising that the vehicle color in the UI couldn't be pushed OTA.
Could be more that 1) there were other issues, and 2) they wanted to have someone onsite to do diagnostics and see if they can narrow down why it happened, rather than just fix it and move on. It might prove to be a process issue they can fix at the factory, as well as making sure they double check this sort of issue with the delivery team.

I was thinking of putting in for service based on passenger side wind noise and misaligned charger door. Seems pretty minor to me but might be fun to experience the mobile service visit. Thanks for info
I have contacted service for the passenger side wind noise but there has been no response yet. Curious how they will approach this as it’s not a software fix.

From the service tech, he had to reflash another vehicle the day before mine where it was displaying Rivian Blue when it was (El Cap Granite or Black). I'm guessing they are programming these units and installing the wrong one sometimes.

With the wind noise you all are getting is it above 70 mph or below?

Lots of chips from transportation it seems. Really think they should be coverings these trucks with reusable materials.
