LE R1T preorder holder in AZ, since Nov 2018. Rivian Blue/OC. Delivery window of March/April, still haven't been contacted by a guide. Every time I talk to CS, they say "any day now". Sigh
Definitely sounds like the OC interiors were lumped into March/April/May but OC seems to be a hard one to lock in. I changed mine to BM (fits Limestone better I think) but no contact yet either.

I am a Nov. 2018 reservations holder for a LE LA-Silver with OC interior. I got contacted by my guide on March 21st. Was told that I was on track for my March-April delivery window, but could get the truck sooner if I switch to BM interior. Since there was no indication of a "delay", I decided to stick with the OC interior.

It's now been 3 weeks since that contact and nothing from Rivian or my guide.

Can't say I'm very pleased at this point. My guide was very nice on the phone, but so far all I'm hearing is crickets.

I had one e-mail follow-up question to my guide last Tuesday, April 4th, in which I indicated that I would be willing to switch to BM interior if there would be a further delay in delivery past the end of April if I kept OC interior. He did say that switching to BM would still be possible if that were the case, and that he would get back to me by the end of the week. He didn't. So it's now been a week since that e-mail.
Can you tell from my short sentences that I'm getting frustrated?

While the truck looks great in the Black Mountain interior, I think the OC will look even sharper, so I'm really hoping to get word this week. That would give Rivian 2 more weeks for a delivery.

Trying to stay positive...

You are certainly not alone. I had similar guide call in Mid March when they were offering up the Black Mountain carrot for early delivery. I stayed with OC as that's what i really want. Contacted guide a couple weeks ago about getting charger so i could be ahead of curve in installation as per their "preparation" email they sent to everyone. Was told couldn't get that until they confirmed truck on the line and delivery was just a couple weeks away from that and that i'd have plenty of time to get it installed. Not sure about how long it would take for it to arrive and also get installed prior to delivery of the actual truck. Guess we'll find out whenever the guide reaches out again. Been nearly a month since the initial guide contact and the BM switch offer. Been in queue since Dec 10, 2018, so feeling the pain like everyone else who jumped on board from the very start. Actually moved my Tesla 3 deposit over to the R1T. Think i would have had plenty of miles on the 3 had i kept that in place! Still anxiously awaiting the R1T, with Ocean Coast!

Right, but others that ordered FE have been offered, and have switched, to black interiors and have their R1Ts. I haven't even been offered, or even contacted, and ordered BEFORE they did. ? Order date doesn't matter much. It's okay, but still I can't help but feel left out.
I keep a very close eye on things - no FE holders that I've seen ever got contacted to switch to BM. Only OC holders got contacted, and only a subset of them.

I know for certain that at least two of our Forum members on here were absolutely contacted and told they could switch for BM from FE to get their R1Ts sooner. And, they do have them now.

Were the both new guide assignments? I know Bruce was offered BM to get his quicker, but he already had a guide.

Not sure about that detail.

I am a FE pre-order plus max. I was contacted in January to change and get delivery early.

All the same.
January 5, 2019 - first time I heard of Rivian, I placed a reservation. Configured Forest Green and Ocean Coast. Turned down end of quarter option to switch to Black Mountain. Guide has not communicated since. Guide and Customer Service both claim still on track for delivery April/May.

I stand corrected. First posts I've seen confirming that.

Hi all -

Well it's Saturday, 4/16/22. Two weeks until the end of my delivery window (Mar-April) and no word if my LE R1T LA-Silver 20AT with OC interior will be delivered on time. My guide contact was March 21st and at that time I was offered to switch to BM interior to get the truck a little sooner, but I declined, because there was no official word that delivery would be delayed beyond the delivery window if I kept the OC interior.

I've had 2 contacts from my guide since March 21st, but he has no news to share. So, I have no idea if switching to BM will actually get me a truck sooner or not. I'm feeling slightly nervous about the road trip I plan on making with the R1T in June (going to pickup a small boat on a trailer in Penn.)

Has anyone had or heard of any OC interior deliveries yet?

May/June delivery window, but got guide contact about a month ago, not willing to change to BM interior, no updates since except when I inquire about once a week, and still no information about when OC interiors will be made, or if my delivery window will change, but said there would likely be a "refresh" on the delivery windows in the coming weeks, whatever that means.

I have configured FE and was assigned a guide yesterday! I wonder if this means the gates are opening for contacts, like they did for OC? And I have yet to figure out if I'm just going to be offered to switch to BM, or if they are actually going to deliver FE.

Part of me (the optimistic part) thinks that only OC customers were being contacted because OC actually IS having a real delay. If FE was also going to be delayed, one would have expected that FE customers would also get a guide and have been offered to switch. Something seems to be different about OC vs FE. Sooooo.... cautiously hoping we'll find that FE is ready to be batched now ??

I ordered on the 1st day it was available 11-26-2018 and I live just an hour away from the factory. I originally had FE configured. I had my 1st guide contact on March 10 he said I could get a truck sooner if I switched to BM. Now 5 weeks later, I'm still waiting to get a VIN assigned.

I reached out via text and email earlier this week to let my guide know that I would take either FE or BM, whichever is available. He never responded.

I'll be disappointed if my March-April delivery window slips into May.
