I mean yours is def something with FE. The BM offers are definitely from cancelled orders or something.
Yea, I know. Still doesn't excuse Rivian, given that I'm 2.5 weeks from my window opening and we still can't get a clear and definitive answer if there are delays on OC and FE.

Interestingly he did say if someone had to push back delivery or decided not to take delivery, that those VINs get emailed out to the guides and they can snap them up if they have people with the same specs.
So did you get the sense it wasn't a big thing to delay an LE delivery by a month or two?

Oh crap. Feb 2020, not 2021. It's an LE. Ironically, I could actually use a delay. All my savings are in GME, it has likely 100% more shares than are supposed to exist and stock split hits in June/July at the earliest.
and july you get the state tax credit, if it is funded.

Yeah, it didn't seem like it would have been an issue, more of "we just need to know, to get you in the right sequence," kind of impression.

They have finished up the batch of Black Mountain - you'll now have to wait for the next BM batch in August.:CWL:
If a black interior is now August, I wonder what is available now?

OCT 2020 pre-order, May/June pool, R1T L.E. in LG with FE interior.
No guide contact (and 2nd preorder not reinstated yet)
Did get a 1:1 First Mile invite and that happens in two days! :)

Have fun! I'm an early 2019 order with exact same config, also in San Diego, same delivery window. I think that just shows that they are batching.

Did you get an invite to a First-Mile local test drive?
I find it kind of encouraging close to delivery window.
And no way would I pass up a chance to drive one!

Isn't it remarkable that the may June window apparently covers nearly two years worth of orders ? Early 2019 - Oct 2020!

My wife (she has R1S res) and I both attended it in L.A. in November or December or whenever that was. Didn’t get another for this one

I've looked too many times at the @Craigins @Kialoa data sets (sry if i missed crediting others). Looks like one thing Rivian did was put a large % of all the R1T LE FE orders in the May June window (approx Q2 2019 and later), so you had a wide date range from that. The May/June window also includes early R1S orders ("mostly" Q1/Q2 2019 orders). Finally, the May June window also includes R1T OC and BM orders that are mostly later, from 2020. So in the May/June window you end up with fairly early R1S orders (2019), wide date range of R1T FE interiors orders, and mostly later R1T BM and OC interior orders.

Prob somewhat oversimplifying, and you can find exceptions, but it appears there was some thought into the sequencing that explains the wide order date range.

I think remarkable is an ok description, though I lean towards "annoying"....

With 13 days out from the start of our delivery window I’m getting pretty excited. Although it’s been quiet, to quiet.

Very few deliveries according to the forum tracker and not a single interior color other than black mountain. Hopefully the slowdown is them pausing to fix some of these quality issues…
