Did not unfortunately. My guide messaged me last minute with the news that it had a paint issue from the factory and that it will be fixed today for a Monday delivery. I really hope I don’t end up with a new vehicle that has already had paint work : /

Signed up for a noon appointment today.
Signed my PBA at 1pm.

Guide couldn’t provide much info on delivery. She was very very vague. Said delivery could be from a few weeks to a few months. She referred to the email we all received about the interior colors. She said having a BM interior with a LG exterior is very common so she didn’t see any issues with my configuration.

So if I look at this objectively, we have the exact same config but I ordered a bit before you. So the difference would be LA vs. Portland as a delivery location (if we assume Rivian is being logical)

I would assume you are correct with that assumption. However you do have the dark 20”. I selected the bright 20”. So maybe it’s the wheels?? Idk

Got my 8 step started yesterday. Was one week from PBA to 8 step being available. Unfortunately my bank doesn't use Plaid so I'll have to do a certified check.

Did your guide send you the 8 step or was it set direct from Rivian? When I asked my guide this question she didn’t really give me a direct answer. She just said she won’t know when it comes.

Yes, wire transfer is also an option. It's been a long time since I done one of these so check makes more sense I think. It appears like check doesn't slow down the process as you take a picture and can then do next steps. It states the check must be mailed the day before getting your rivian.

I’m in the club. Signed PBA about a month ago. Received wall charger a week ago (nothing on other accessories). Truck is now “on the transport lot” in Normal to head my way “soon” but ETA unavailable. Was told not to wire funds until local SC received truck and they completed their prelim inspection.

Our guide just emailed to set up the intro call!! Beyond excited. Call set up for Monday.

The excitement is tempered a bit because we know we want to stick with the OC interior and that we will probably not get our vehicle very soon...oh well we have waited this long what's a few more months...

If I had moved forward that day, I would have been the first Compass Yellow he delivered. I am kind of holding back because A. I want to drive it. B. I am R1S curious.

Do you mean Rancho Santa Margarita? Santa Margarita is 250 miles north in San Luis Obispo County.
