One day after my guide call I just got the 8 steps email. Does this mean my truck is ready to go? Guide isn't responding to text messages.

Same here- happening very fast.

...truck is close to ready - if you look at Rivian.com you should see a vin. That's the truck assigned to you. I think you have to do the 8 steps and then it'll come to you.

Haven't seen many Texas deliveries but saw a lot of people (including yourself) have midnight chosen. I decided to go ahead and change mine to midnight as well. Doubt it will affect anything but you never know these days

Could be a good strategy as they look to batch things up. I'm in CT and am thinking that the service center near Boston that's opening soon may be a reason I've moved up. Probably wrong but only thing i can think of that makes any real sense.

Yeah I'm BM as well, I also just added the underbody shield as well. I think another person on here basically has the exact setup I do and got their PBA earlier this week, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It's kind of odd, Texas is known for trucks everywhere and i haven't seen that many mentions of rivians being delivered here.

Y'all have me terrified, I think I've narrowed it down to Rivian Blue, El Cap or Forrest Green and at this point I'm scared to touch my config.

I'll be honest, if a rep called me and said we are only delivering el cap, white or forest green - i'd take whichever. I like ElCap but im not opposed to Midnight if thats one of the main batches shipping currently.

If i knew in advance I'd get to pick amongst a few colors sure, there's only a couple I don't like so the odds are I'd be ok. But it seems a lot of these Q4 delivery window guide calls are more like "We have your config ready to go now, do you want it?"

I think that is part of the plan for the calls later this month to potentially expedite delivery. Hopefully they will provide guidance on what configurations are or will be available for earlier delivery to allow you to "opt-in" to those configurations.

Hopefully, I figure my only shot at a 2022 delivery is luck that I get a call prior to open season for everyone at the end of May. Unless of course several thousand people are die hard Ocean Coast fans...
