But it's not meant to be an F U. They're consistently repeating every time they speak publicly that they can't produce what they don't have parts for. RJ specifically said this was an issue for R1S. Reality is what it is, even if it's disappointing or frustrating.You are right. 1,500-2,000.
That doesn’t qualify as “thousands” in my book and would still be a big F U from Rivian to R1S customers.
They've reset expectations several times in the last 18 months. And we can all agree the way the communicate should be clearer. That said, they seem to be doing all they can with the cards they've been dealt.
I'm sure whatever new timeline they provide this week and in the coming months will continue to frustrate because they don't have certainty and neither will we, as their customers. So it goes.
