All CS would tell me was "by the end of the week". I'm sure that's what the comms folks told them and haven't told them anything different. Left out there to figure out what that means just like the rest of us.

The worst of it is, all Tony’s email had to say was “next week we will begin to roll out updated timing…”

Think of all the wasted time Rivian could have saved its CS team. The fact they didn’t do that underscores - for me - the continued and shocking incompetence of Rivian comms.

Business programs in the 2030s will be filled with case studies on “what not to do” based solely on Rivian.

The most frustrating thing of it all is that they 100% put themselves into these situations. I know I’m not getting my truck tomorrow and I know the email is either going to tell me my timeline hasn’t changed or it’s pushed out. But what drives me wild is they keep setting these deadlines on themselves that they aren’t prepared to meet.

As a product manager myself, I would never be okay with my support or comms team going on with a definitive deadline of something we are not 100% ready for yet. ?‍♂

We here at the forums have agreed that the week has ended (see evidence above and below). Yet again, your communication team has failed to provide us with.... communication. I'm rooting for the company. I'm not even upset that I don't have my truck, lots of people pre ordered before me. I read on FB today that a guide told her customer that no more launch greens will be manufactured. Is that true? I don't know. Maybe it is. (then I take it back and you can consider me upset).

But really, providing clear guidance isn't that hard. We know the work is hard. Production is hard. But giving the people behind you for more than a few years just some decent information, that's not hard. If you want some advice, call me, maybe?

When I saw this thread had jumped 10 pages today I thought, for about 2 seconds, Rivian had actually met a self-imposed deadline. Joke's on us.
