Further confirms that these are at the factory and Rivian is actively ignoring people with these exact builds who have had guides for months in favor of showing them to preorder holders who just want their configs instead R1 Shop trucks.

Does the FG/FE combo have the underbody protection? In particular the configuration with the full-size spare tire. Asking for a friend.

No trucks have underbody. One f/f does have a spare.

Would certainly like to see how the Christmas special would look. The only "color" I was convinced to go with Forest Edge for myself was Limestone. The pictures of that combo look great. I told my wife that is the only way I would agree to Limestone (her favorite and my kids' favorite). We have Red Canyon now, so you can guess how that went.

July 2019 preorder here. Anticipated deliver Aug-Sep 2022. Finally received Shop access today.

My configuration was locked in June 2022 after talking with my guide, but after receiving shop access, the configuration is no longer locked/confirmed. Did this happen to others as well or do I need to contact my guide to lock the configuration again so that my truck is still in line for production?

BTW Only truck available currently in Dallas, Tx is a Rivian Blue/FE/20"Dark.

My build....I'd fly to TX to take delivery...April 2020 preorder no guide no shop. Anxiety increasing watching orders 1 to 2 yrs after mine

@sickhews @Jayhox so are we seeing possibly a "trend" of exceeding the 4-8 weeks delivery promise by guides? From what I can see signature wise, you guys don't seem to have a complicated configuration, why not just grab one that's close from the Shop? Am I way off here?

Reserving a truck in 2018, 2019, or 2020 and seeing newer reservations holders getting a guide and deliveries must be super frustrating. It must feel like your reservation fell into a black hole on the Internet.

I have thought that on several occasions. Currently I'm waffling between extreme optimism that I'll win the Rivian lottery !!s00n!! and Grand Canyon depths of pessimism. The good news is that I believe with my current config there's little to no chance I bump into 2023. The bad news is that would mean almost 6 more months of watching 2021 and 2022 orders get trucks first...
