Today I did a test fit of the iKamper X-Cover. This is a very large RTT that opens up to roughly the size of a King size. It has an overhang of roughly 15” past the tailgate. Still, I think this will work. We’re planning a camping trip in a couple weeks.

I'd be worried about bending the tent with that much overhang.

We are a dealer for Rough Country and they make one I think I may give a go. At $1200 it seems like a decent deal.

I’m glad you brought that up. iKamper says I shouldn’t have more than 25” unsupported. I’ve got a 31” overhang here. So I’m either going to have to roof mount it or get a smaller tent.

Maybe just some kind of extra support against the bed rails? Probably doesn't need to be there when driving, just when being used.

I have been looking around primarily to find a tent that would let me have enough space so i could mount a bike or a ski rack and have the tent.

While it's not out yet (ships october) I think the new Roofnest Meadowlark might fit the bill for those who are looking for rooftop tents but want to be able to get their gear on the bars too.

I received my truck less than a week ago and was told that the Yakima tent that I ordered was delayed indefinitely, so I’m trying to see what my options were. I reached out to Yakima and was told that the only tent they make that will fit the Rivian crossbars, is the one that is being sold by Rivian. I’ve seen several people on social media posting pictures with different tents, so I’m curious if someone on here has found a different option or not. I haven’t received my crossbars yet, so I can’t take a measurement when I reach out to different companies.
I’ve tried reaching out to those that I see on Instagram, but haven’t received a response, so I thought I’d try here.

Nice setup! I ended up finding a used Yakima Skyrise locally on a resale site and saved quite a bit of money in the process. We've used it a couple of times earlier this year and really hoping to use it this fall when it cools off.

Check the Condor XL. It's almost as big. Guy on Reddit posted about it on his R1T. Roofnest said the overhang was fine.

Thanks for sharing - the XL was a top choice since the Yakima is not available.
