Yes, I got a guide a while back but I’m not getting a vehicle until I don’t know when (first half of 2023). I was just telling the ones who are getting theirs soon that I’m happy for them ?Woah - good for you, but you got a guide with an Adventure? Definitely looks like underbody helps. Enjoy!
You forgot that Rivian committed to prioritize delivery of the LE models, though. So at this point we shouldn't see any adventures being delivered before LE'sYes, I got a guide a while back but I’m not getting a vehicle until I don’t know when (first half of 2023). FWIW, Adventure or LE is the same thing minus that you get free wheels. I didn’t pick LE because I wanted a Max Pack S and I guess that boat has sailed.
Also I ordered in April and you some time in spring. We could get contacted at the same time.
Please update us on the trade in value you get for your m3. Curious if prices are staying high on used teslas. Considering trading in as well but I love the car so it’s a tough decision.I also received the “Build Confirmation” email yesterday. When I went to confirm I noticed a guide was finally assigned, though neither of us have reached out to each other yet.
I’m at step 2 of the 8 step now, waiting on a trade in estimate. I’m trading my Model 3. In an interesting bit, they had me submit a pic of the options in the UI of the Tesla, so it looks like they account for things beyond just trim level (I have the FSD computer which is now an insane addon, let’s see how the quote is).
For what it’s worth, I never changed my config since the configurator went live, aside from adding and later removing the charger.
Still at the factory awaiting rail transport to El Segundo. 6-8 weeks to delivery is the latest update.VIN assigned today, #0215! I'll reach out to my Guide tomorrow to learn it's location. What a day...!
What rate did you get? My credit union best is 3.89% 75 months, with rates expected to go up again. Terrible, but they have historically been the best so guessing rates are all very high right now like everything else.Insurance: set a future date for policy enforcement (one week from now or etc, move it if your delivery was delayed).
Payment: I used Rivian Financing because I didn't want to deal with any issues like them not giving a car and payments start etc. I'll re-fi with better rates anyways in up coming months WHEN my tags are squared away.
My payment will start iirc when delivery is scheduled AFAIK.
I did not forget. I just remember what they did with the T. But frankly, I would much prefer not being in the first few thousands (although quality might have improved). I’m in no rush. You forgot that Rivian committed to prioritize delivery of the LE models, though. So at this point we shouldn't see any adventures being delivered before LE's

They didn't start doing that until they had mostly finished with LE R1T pre-orders. The remainder were predominantly MaxPack (not available on R1S) or Ocean Coast (not available at all at the time).I did not forget. I just remember what they did with the T. There are some good CU options to look into in this thread:What rate did you get? My credit union best is 3.89% 75 months, with rates expected to go up again. Terrible, but they have historically been the best so guessing rates are all very high right now like everything else.
I put my deposit down when I reserved. When March temporary price increase happened I bailed and got my money back. When the increases for LE holders was rescinded, I came back in. I did not redeposit my funds until 8/11 when you could sign a "contract" to buy and have $100 go towards purchase. As of today that payment has yet to process. Rivian guide, Erik said, it will take up to 30 days to show up on their system and I guess my cc. So that's where I stand currently. Hope that helps.Just curious, Nov 2020 is when the configurator opened, is that when you put your deposit down as well for the pre-order? Seems like with the R1S they have been honoring the pre-order dates more than with the R1T but that makes your delivery an anomaly if you placed your deposit in 11/2020.
That is great, same configuration I have.I’m a 2/19 pre-order… El Cap, BM, 22” sport brights and underbody shield and delivery window of August/September. Never had any contact of any kind (other than the blanket emails on delivery windows), but yesterday got email to lock configuration and was assigned a guide. I texted back and forth with my guide a few times yesterday and ultimately locked my config late morning. After lunch, I got an email with link for 8 steps, and I completed steps 1-6 yesterday afternoon. My VIN is 322… no word from guide yet on status. All happened very quickly.
I think it's now called underbody shield, as everyone gets the front hooks. So this order is in line with the other deliveries we've seen. That is great, same configuration I have.
Do you have the off road package, seems like most of the ones being delivered do have it.
