Took my R1T w/ 21’s to Bishop and Crowley Lake - Experience, Photos & Videos

Took my R1T with 21” road tires to Bishop after a week of ownership.

Also went off-road to Crowley Lake which I think is ideal for those who have no off-roading experience like myself. There are just 2 sections where you need a 4x4 and a high clearance vehicle and I was just delighted how the off-road mode works! A short clip of the video doesn’t tell much but the washboard condition (not sure if that is the correct description) was deep, about a foot or more on an incline (downhill and uphill) on a mix dirt and sand terrain. A shorter wheelbase on a 4x4 would be a piece of cake for it I think.

There’s probably 6 of them and they are fast! Rated while most chargers in the RAN in Cali are only 11kW. It’s right next to El Pollo Loco where we have dinner and when we’re done we are fully charged!

Can't wait for them to put some of these in on the Blue Ridge Parkway in NC/VA. You all have some great scenery in CA. Glad you had a great first week experience!

There is one coming in Blowing Rock NC. The folks at Blue Ridge Energy (local electric company there) told me this in July when I was charging at their HQ in Boone.

Was going to say the same thing. I remember when they showed the Blue T for the first timeat an event in Seattle, it was quite interesting the color changing properties of the paint in various lighting conditions, from typical Rivian Blue, to more of a pastel blue
