Completely agree. I don't want to waste a day off now to drive to a service center and then another to pick it up, just to hear it was all "within spec". The a month or two later see a recall that addresses one of the root causes of the reason I took all that effort for in first place.If there are known issues, Rivian would be better off socializing that with their service agents on the phones and techs/mangers in the SCs in order to stave off spurious trips into the SC by owners that will ultimately be dissatisfied with the time they’ve wasted getting there.
If they pick it up and bring it back...I am more tolerant of "within spec". If on my dime...not gunna be a happy camper.
