Extremely Hot Interior while at SC

Very interested to know your thoughts, why the truck cabin is at 108°, while at Service Center?
Outdoor temp high was 68°.

I’m aware of the effect but for it being such a cool day, and the car being white… it’s never been that hot in the cabin since we got it.

I’m assuming it’s a type-o, but it’s Llumar, not Lluminar.

Also I suggest you get Stratos 70 on the windshield, and then use FormulaOne Pinnacle or Llumar IRX for the remainder of the glass.

I’m aware of the effect but for it being such a cool day, and the car being white… it’s never been that hot in the cabin since we got it.

I don’t have tint yet, but god bless the seat heaters ?

Also the HVAC in the Rivian is leagues better my Mach-E.

Also I noticed in the most recent update notes there is a fix to an abnormally reported cabin temperature in the app when the vehicle is asleep. So maybe it’s simply that.

Mine got up to about 104 last weekend and the app said it was cooling the vehicle to prevent screen damage.
I live in Texas, hoping this isn’t an issue as we approach summer.

Also I see that none of the screenshots above show that it’s cooling. Mine did that automatically. I‘m no lcd expert, but I’ve owned cars with lcd screens in this Texas heat and never had any issues.

122f is usually an upper limit for normal electronics. Sometimes they can go up to 140.

While the cabin temp said 104, the internals may have been warmer, causing the protection mode to kick in.

February 2nd in Miami, Florida.

So I had my truck at Service Center and ambient was 50 F and I had a notification that the interior was at 100F. Has to be a system malfunction when the truck sits for an extended period of time and sleeps as I have never had a vehicle including my Y get that warm inside on a cool and windy day
