I have always had issues getting Driver + to engage so I believe this was off from the factory. On a recent road trip I discovered a warning when I double tapped down on the right stalk to engage Driver plus even though the driver plus symbol was not on the screen. It came up with the following warning "Wheel Alignment needed Service your vehicle".
Ever since I had the RIT it would only allow me to engage driver plus within the first 2000 ft and if I disengaged it would not come back on. It would only allow it to go back into Driver + mode if I pulled over turned off the vehicle then got back on the freeway with the same 2000 ft condition.
After the service center visit it now works all the time. I can disengage to change lanes and reengage now. I would not have found this if I didn't double tap down on right stalk as if engaging Driver +.
The wheel Alignment was off according to the service center, however while driving the truck it held true on flat surfaces. they informed me it was a vary minor adjustment.
Just wanted to pass along in case someone else has come across this issue with Driver + being very limited or not allowing you to reengage after disengaging.
