Another bug from the 39.1 update:

Upon locking the vehicle, the screens turn off but the music continues playing. This is the first this has happened for me. Unlocking and re-locking does not change anything. I think it eventually turns off, but not sure how long after it does so.

No 39.3 for me yet, waiting for the notification on my phone. Truck is with my partner at their house tho but should be able to get it updated as soon as it rolls in. Would love to get it before a day trip tomorrow.

FWIW, I have the latest update and compressor is working. No other bugs that I can find...yet. Drove it A LOT yesterday.

FYI, no need for people to report that their trucks are fine. We have enough data at this point to know that it is affecting a portion of the fleet, and Rivian is aware. Further posts should focus around if the 39.3 push fixes the issue (including notes included with it), and other bugs noticed after applying the .39 update so that patterns can be identified and Rivian can be aware.

Anyone definitively know if we need to install the 39.1 update BEFORE the 39.3? I have a pending update notice in the truck for 39.1, but wondering if it will be replaced by a notice for 39.3? Or is the only way to get the 39.3 updates is by installing the 39.1 first?

Definitely not, because this is the first time I've ever downloaded a .1 before. Typically I get a secondary release version as the first one.

However, I've never been in your specific position of having the first one downloaded. Probably a question for Rivian directly, or just wait a few days to find out.

I would THINK that 39.3 (or any secondary release) gets pushed to everyone, so it shouldn't matter what your baseline is.

i went straight from .35 to 39.3 just now. Notification to update to 39.3 showed up about an hour ago and i downloaded it right away. I don't think you need the 39.1 to get 39.3

Thanks. I'm wondering if my pending 39.1 will block me from getting the 39.3 until I install it (39.1).

My compressor is inoperable after the update as well. I have logged it with Rivian Service.

This issue got fixed with a soft reset for me.

I had a reset in between it happening separate times, but it's also not every time I don't think. A reset also fixed my steering wheel audio controls, but then they went out in the middle of a drive again.

Soft reset fixed this and the media control buttons on the left steering wheel.

went from 35.3 to 39.3. Air compressor works and media buttons work. FM radio does not. sat at the reconnecting spinner for a while and now says Could not connect
