So came out from work this morning and noticed two small dents in the rear door on driver's side. I jumped in the truck hoping to find out what caused them from gear guard video.....nothing. I can see me open the door yesterday and there are no dings. Other than that nothing but people walking by. Disappointed that I'll never know what led to this. No paint scratches, just dings. Looking at paintless dent repair, but no luck so far. Any one used a good PDR shop in the DMV area?

....Pulp Fiction comes to mind.

Vincent:
Tell me about it. I had it in storage for three years, it was out for five days and some dickless piece of sh*t f***ed with it.

Lance:
They should be f***ing killed. No trial, no jury, straight to execution.

Vincent:
Boy, I wish I could've caught him doing it. I'd have given anything to catch that a**hole doing it. It'd been worth him doing it just so I could've caught him doing it.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
Shopping cart? If so, someone had to have slammed it into the truck pretty hard. Immensely frustrating, sorry to hear.

Those are pretty bad dents. It’s strange how they straddle that angled door panel. Doesn’t seem like another door or a shopping cart would do that.

Damn you, Gary!!

If someone did that consciously and walked away noticing the damage.. karma will follow. Really annoying I’m sorry :(

I bet I could walk out to my truck right now and find 2 or 3 giant vehicles which have never been cared for, washed, or repaired after accidents, parked right next to me. It's just in some people's nature to do that herd thing. There is a heavy gravitational force in parking lots, and all the cars slide over to wherever I park for the day.

All kidding aside: It leads to increased possibilities of "wind catching a door", etc. and that is irritating and often costly.

Sorry to see that. Those are pretty big. Gary definitely should have caught them on camera.

1st PDR guy to get back to me said the dents are too sharp. Not the answer I was hoping for.

I won’t be buying a Gary Plushy.
That guy must not be very good or very confident in his/her ability...a good PDR tech can remove those if he/she has easy enough access behind the panel.

I've only ever had motion detections, but after one of the summer software updates it seems like the recordings don't start until halfway through an event. For example, if the truck is in a parking lot and someone walks by then the recording starts when the person is already halfway past the truck. If they decided to briefly key it (or something that isn't enough to trigger an alarm event), you might not catch the actual act on camera.

Damn!!! You'd have to push a shopping cart pretty F'ing hard to do that kind of damage!

Probably better off you didn't catch the AH in the act... Christmas in jail on assault charges isn't all it's cracked up to be.

Oh, just noticed "came out from work this morning and noticed two small dents in the rear door on driver's side"... so you think this happened at work?
