Front door edge paint gouges

Hey all, got my R1T on Saturday and I'm in love with it! I did a walk around inspection at delivery and everything looked good, but today I just noticed a chip in the black paint of the door edge (visible only when door is open). Above the chip are a series of gouges leading up to it. I thought, oh crap what did I do... Then checked the other side and it's there too minus the chip. Almost looks like the door slipped or skipped while being assembled?

Doesn't appear to be rubbing as far as I can tell

It's minor for sure, especially since you can't see it unless the door is open, but still annoying... Hoping mobile service can just touch it up vs having to go back to the SC...

The truck will only be perfect for a short amount of time....count this as your "might as well get the first chip/door ding" out of the way and now you won't worry about the truck so much....Odds are it comes back from SC with an additional scratch, etc if you try to get that fixed. My $.02.

Yeahhh - I'm less concerned with aesthetics and more with it getting worse since it's down to the metal. Even a touch up pen or something would be great.

It shouldn't be delivered like that, but I would almost just order the touch up pen and do it myself.

If that is the worst of your issues, count your blessings. Buy a touch up pen from Rivian and call it a day.

Yeah, obviously having a mobile professional do it would be preferred to get it done as best as possible, but I'm fine touching it up.

Anyone know if that black paint is the same as midnight?
