I've also been stumped by the HVAC at times. For example, I have the temp set to 68 and it is 35 outside, why does it appear as though the AC is running? Turning it up to 70+ sort of makes it switch to display the heat icons, but it will get warmer than I need it to be. And sometimes it shows the snowflake icon in the climate controls, as if the air is on, but what is coming out of the vent feels a bit lukewarm. Just seems odd.

I put in a service ticket.

My thought is. Just blow hot air and let us change the fan speed to adjust. Mine will blow cooler air to keep at a certain temp, sorry, but in the winter I want warm air blowing on me.

Solid! I went the cheaper route, haha. I also have a set (non magnetic version, so older o ring version) also willing to let others in the DSM area borrow.

Been looking at https://rennstand.com forever but so far haven’t justified the cost… but after doing my first oil change on my ‘22 Camaro, they might be well worth it…

Nothing out of the norm outside of this being on the new update. Accessory power has always been up but not that high. Likely due to inverter? I like how I put energy in and the battery was negative.

Mine just started this as well. ~12 hours of charging:

0 kWh Cabin Battery/Temps
4.5 kWh Accessory power

I've never turned on the inverters for the outlets. I noticed the truck is running something constantly and will not shut it off unless unplugged and locked. as soon as I unlock, it kicks in again, and if i plug in and then lock it stays on.

I think a deep sleep corrected it for me. I had a work lunch for 3 hours, left it locked in the parking lot. Afterwards it seemed to be nack to normal, but I'll test it out charging tonight.

I let the truck sleep first (parked in the garage and waited 2 hours) then I started charging. Consumption was back to normal overnight. Give it a shot.

Hey all, just a farewell from me, I've sold off the Rivian and went back to a Ram. I sure loved that truck but unfortunately there were just some key things that it couldn't meet that I needed it to. Hope all of you all the best! I'm not done with electric's, just going to let things mature a bit more before I jump back in.

FYI - a friend of mine is a salesman at the dealership you traded it in and tried to sell it to me. I am waiting on my R1S - he didn't know enough about Rivian to know there were 2 models. At least he remembered that I want a Rivian!

I just posted info in the for sale section. If you know of anyone who wants it just message me and I will get you his contact info. I think they are going to wholesale it really soon if they can't get rid of it as they have no idea what it is or how to sell it.

I just talked to them again today and it sounds like it was a wholesale deal and it’s on its way to Jackson Hole Wyoming! That was quick.. I really thought they’d list it for something like 93-95 and it’d be gone in no time.

I don’t know about others but I haven’t been too impressed with the organization and communication abilities of Rivians service department.

Seems like every service ticket for even very small things will end up taking about 5+ calls back and forth between a service customer support rep to explain the ticket that you entered in, then they do weird stuff like schedule a time/date at the KC service center for you (but tell you that’s the only way for them to have the service center get the ticket for a mobile service visit). Then eventually someone from KC calls back wondering why you missed your appointment. Doesn’t seem like there is a direct way for the service customer service folks to know if little things like replacing a torx screw on the underbody can be a mobile service or not.

Its just a very convoluted system so far that hopeful will continue to get streamlined.
