But we AREN'T the same breed. Do I now wave at every EV going by? Where does it end?

Agreed. I always think it's odd when someone on a cruiser waves at me when I'm on either a sport or ADV bike. I'll wave back, but I don't feel good about it (jk cruiser people). I'll be getting dark tinted windows on the front of my future R1T for sure to avoid similar awkward situations.

What’s funny is I’d wave at somebody on their 50cc scooter and they’d look at me and wonder what’s up.

Haha yeah I'm just kidding. It's more cruiser people don't wave at me . Although...I certainly don't wave at scooters and I had one when i was 14-16

We used to own a few Mini-Coopers many years ago and were always getting waved by other mini drivers on the road. I would not say the same thing for driving our teslas, which we got more dirty looks from those gas/diesel haulers.

I was caught unaware. A white Model Y drove by and the owner had a huge smile on his face and waved at/to me. I was taken aback. I meekly waved back with a quizzical look on my face.

I'm in the EV Love camp. But someday, it will attrition out. But if I'm waved at from an EV vehicle. I wave back.

I'm also known to help folks at fast chargers when they just bought an EV and are confused how to use the equipment
