Just wanted to add that I recently installed the Rivian charger and I was able to qualify for the $500 home wiring rebate. Because Rivian is not a supported vehicle I was not able to qualify for the $50 credit for scheduled charging.

That's interesting...see my comment below, I thought in order to qualify for the rebate you had to be signed up for the optimize your charge program in the first place of which only 2 chargers qualify.

@DTown3011 @Ravenron @lg3103 I appreciate your feedback. I went with the Chargepoint Flex Home Charger with the NEMA 14-50 plug. (Which is backordered at chargepoint.com, but available on Amazon for more $ , via a 3rd party)

@Evan S congrats on getting a rebate for the Rivian-brand charger! I'm curious how you did this... the Xcel website seems to say that only the Chargepoint Home Flex or the Enel X Juice Box are eligible. Maybe the website changed after you used it.

I'm also interested in that as well, not that it matters to me now and I would have gone with the ChargePoint anyways, but this doesn't seem to align with the info I received from Xcel. Juicebox, Chagepoint, or nothing.

Dig that $715 price. I ordered from Amazon instead because I'm not sure how quickly bulbs.com delivers, and I need the charger ASAP.... because I just found out today that my R1T will be available in January instead of April-June! ??

FWIW I think I had mine 3-4 days after I ordered. Fast.

Aw man, sorry to hear that. Be comforted by the fact that my sooner-than-expected R1T was almost certainly manufactured toward the end of 2022, when the Rivian factory was making its final push toward the promised 25,000 vehicles. I will be keeping a keen eye out for defects.

My Guide Erik, whom I just met today via phone, implied that my R1T was originally ordered by a different customer... who then canceled their order. I just happened to order the exact same configuration as that original customer. So (I assume) that Rivian bumped me up in the queue.

I just saw the Austin R1T Shop had over 80 R1T in there and at least 2 were my configuration so I'm just patiently waiting over here...I do agree I don't want a rush December build, that's for sure!

Well after initially telling me I wasn't able to get Shop access because my car was slated for production, after the email came out today I again asked for Shop access and my Guide told me she'd go ahead and request it, I should have access within a few days. So who knows whats going on...

Nope, they'll refer you to a Guide and they are the only ones that can request access for you.

I just got access to the R1T Shop this morning for Denver - there are currently 51 R1T in the shop!! Also I found it interesting there are 2 with powered tonneau cover AND a launch edition launch green also in the shop! I'm pretty married to the 22" wheels (I am sitting on a set of X-Ice Michelin 22" tires ready to go once delivered) but I could pull the trigger on a few options if I was feeling crazy....just not my ideal setup. UGH!

Assuming your signature is up to date, there are 8 Forest Green exterior, but only 1 on 20" AT darks and it has ocean coast interior.

Yes, only R1T shop. I can't see any R1S's.
