Powder coating is incredibly long lasting. It's why its often utilized as a coating for frames. Take a look at some classic cars. They can take a beating and keep looking great. The coating will also make the entire piece look like it belongs in the vehicle.

I will say this... casting urethane is A LOT more expensive than the original plan with an aluminum sheet. This is because the urethane requires a mold to be made and then the urethane to be poured into the mold. But I'll see what I can do.
I will take whatever material you come up with on this product. If aluminum, so be it.

For the record. I want rubber too. So I'm going to look into this.

For the record If you can do carbon fiber I'll definitely pay the premium assuming you need a few folks for material costs!

I'm also in for one if you can make the top coat rubber similar to the OEM pad.

Thank you for all of the work you've put into finding a solution for us and listening to the feedback.

No worries. That's why I do it. I get a lot of enjoyment from others using our products. Trust me... I'm not making any money yet. Hopefully s00n?

What are you talking per unit for urethane? This is far and away the best solution I’ve seen for the charger and as such personally I would be willing to pay a fair amount for this.

Waiting on a few quotes. The biggest issue will be the tooling cost. Im also trying to reach out to a local company who works with troubled teens, adults and those with special needs. Hoping to give back at the same time as producing things.

Those are always the best products where they can give back a little at the same time.

Carbon fiber would look out of place next to all the wood trim.

@Sojhinn am I the only one that can’t visualize how two phones will fit on this and actually work? If you fit them longways, they cover up the divot and if you happen to have to iPhone maxes, I feel like that would be a tight fit. Is it possible to see this with actual phones sitting on it to gauge sizing?

By divot you mean the granola bowl? Then yes it does cover it when charging. We need a step down due to the camera bump. That's one of the main reasons the OEM wireless charger doesn't work. As for iphone pro maxes: I have two I've put them side by side and had no issues charging. In fact all of my designs make sure large phones can fit. My biggest issue is that I don't have a third phone to take that picture.

If you have clear cases, it's a good idea to just put them down and take a picture to show how they fit. You'll be able to see the camera bumps sitting inside the bowl as well as the widths inside the plate.

Only solid cases here. You can check s00nish.com. we have a couple pictures of the classic plate with phones on them. Again they fit fine. No issues from anyone who has snagged one so far.
