This is great, when will you have more pictures of the cover rolled up, attachments etc?
yes, pics coming. I wanted to get our production brackets done so we could take more official pics.

I'd preorder now if I could understand if this would work for those of us who got the "Manual Tonneau" but, obviously, hasn't been delivered.

The page states:
  • Fits R1T that have been delivered 'without tonneau'
Which, to me, indicates it's only for those who ordered with... Well.... No tonneau.

Apologies if I'm just missing this, but I'd like to get something to hold me over/ use in place of the manual.

We have it install on our R1T, which did not have a power tonneau cover option. And we've confirmed it on a Rivian with the power tonneau. Shoot me pics of your side rails and I can confirm.

I don't have it yet ?

But if someone in this thread with the Manual Tonneau can grab some pics, I'd appreciate it!

I thought the manual and powered cover options use the same rails so it should work either way.

Yeah, that's what I have heard, but I have not been able to confirm it.

I may just order this now and we'll see when the truck and the tonneau arrive.

Very interested, but I want to see what Rivian comes out with first, I really hope they announce it soon.

You mean manual vs powered? Manual they've already described it. My my perspective its more $ and a pain to insert slats/store them etc. Much prefer this approach.
Powered, the promise was nice, not sure what a new install would look like on a truck that has never had a powered tonneau. Im guessing $3K with install and then hoping they got it right this time.

Manual, they've described it, but I have yet to see anything, and I can see them changing things. And I have technically purchased it, but if it sucks, I'll look elsewhere. I think I'd prefer a hard cover for durability, security and looks, but a roll up is more practical.

I like the additional photos, would it be possible to have a video for installation and for operation? This looks a good deal against the currently none existent Rivian manual cover.

Makes sense. I've had a roll up a lot like the one EV Sportline is offering for the R1T on the 2010 F350 i'm replacing since I got that truck. I've had no complaints with the rollup/security for my use. I live in New England so heavy snow on it is common and I live on a farm so hay, poop, shavings, and all other kinds of nasty stuff are in and around it all the time.

The F350 cover was from Cap world for $399.99 in 2009 + $75 install. High volume and long ago but was a great buy.
