Some deliveries are seemingly random too. I have a co-worker who ordered his R1S a month after me and got his guide in December and had it delivered in early feb. I think he might have just never changed his configuration once.

Same thing happened to me. Pulled the trigger over a week ago and then saw it's 15XX. Questioned my decision for a few days but ultimately kept it (still waiting for delivery).

I figure we'll keep the car 5-10 years. When we sell the value different between 22 and 23 will be marginal. In lieu of that I'm getting a free wheel upgrade to 22" and hopefully some of the other small features that have since been removed. Oh yes, and the Meridien sound system (though I likely won't be able to tell the difference!).

Most importantly, I'm looking forward to 6-9 extra months of driving enjoyment

I think you are probably right with long term value not being that different and the free wheel upgrade now is definitely a perk. Sold lol

I'm searching the forum trying to find at which VINs the frunk outlet disappeared. I'm thinking my 15XX is about an October build and was expecting the outlet. Your VIN isn't too far behind mine so would've assumed you have it too, but can't find data to support that. Anyone recall when/what VIN range the outlet started disappearing?

If we get lucky we might also get wood trim behind the front row seats, but I think that's more of a stretch.
