EV makers need to make this the default. Why can't I just rock up, plug in and the station automatically charges the card my Rivian/account has on file? This isn't even difficult, it's already a standard.

EA, EVGO, Chargepoint, (Tesla?) would basically cover 95% of things.
My Ford Mach E works this way for EA and EVGO, I just plug in and it starts charging. It is actually much more reliable than trying to use apps or credit cards.

Yes... wife asked me who's car was in our driveway, like she caught me red handed. I responded with "yours".... ?

Ability to set primary driver so that if two phones are detected the priority driver takes precedence for seat settings.

Ability to open charge port with app. This is helpful in the winter when the button doesnt work and i hate having to climb back in to the truck.
if you don’t mind Alexa, you can just say: Alexa, open the charge door. Works for me.

I want to see the kW charge rate while I'm charging - without having to go look on the charger screen (which is sometimes facing the other way).
I also, for the first time, noticed that the EA charger (which, although being a 350 kW charger was only running at about 102 kW) said "Charge speed requested by your vehicle" - and it said that it was only "100kW". I want to see this on the screen in my Rivian, so I'll know if it is the charger or the truck that is throttling it. BTW, it was a warm spring afternoon - about 90F, and I charged for over 11 minutes - max charge rate was 104. The battery couldn't have been cold.
Come on Rivian - give us the basic facts on screen.

Edit: Thedude pointed out that there is the option to switch between kW rate (& kWh added) and mi/hr rate (& miles added) on the "Charging" screen. And it does show up on the driver's screen, as well.

Put trip meters and odometer back under the Vehicle tab and not in Settings. What’s wrong with y’all? Dumb.

That’s been an option since at least October when I got my truck. Go to your charge screen and tap the left side displays to toggle between mph and kWh charge rates. It will change on both the center and driver’s screens. The truck will display a status text in yellow saying charge speed limited by station or by the truck if there’s a limit in effect.

I'd like to see a Driver+ focused update. Expand the roads where it works, allow lane keep assist on unmapped roads (not just the warning), automatic speed change based on limit with an optional offset, re-engage after lane change or even automatic lane changes, and alignment within lanes based on proximity of vehicles in adjacent lanes. Ultimately I would like to see it get to be hands free as advertised, but I don't think that would happen in one update.

Just a point of clarity: active Lane Keep Assist currently works on all roads. It is Highway Assist that doesn't.

And they changed it at some point so you can turn the warnings off instead of obligating one of them.

Yes, thanks for clarifying. The current feature that works on all roads is more like a lane departure warning, it doesn't keep the vehicle centered like Highway Assist does, only assists in keeping you in the lane, but would just bounce back and forth.

Thank you. I appreciate the response. I'll poke around to see if I can find those options on the charge screen.
I didn't see anything on the truck's display about the charge speed limit, but perhaps I missed it. I'll be sure to look for it.

I'll be looking for the status text next time I see the rate being limited.

Be realistic….

For me:

My biggest gripe is the Alexa integration, more specifically Amazon music. It’s very buggy.

My air vents behave a bit strange, it appears they do not remain the same position I leave them in when I return to the car-despite the settings on the screen remaining the same.

I also wouldn’t mind a discrete prompt when opening the drivers door to leave the vehicle “running, while locked the keep it cool, inside. Without having to do so from the phone app.

The windows work fine, but the auto-down, auto up isn’t terribly intuitive imho. Wouldn’t mind them being a bit quicker too.

Stop the random single pass of the windshield wiper when shifting from Park to Reverse or Drive......turned off auto wiper, still does it randomly....am I missing something?
My car just started doing this after the latest update. Is there anything that can be done to eliminate this? Such a weird behavior.

I still long for Valet mode which would prevent someone for accessing locked areas of the vehicle (Frunk and Tunnel). Living in the NY/Philly area, I have to valet park in the city and always have to empty my car because I can't lock things in it
I also would've to have the passenger mirror tilt down when in reverse
