Just took delivery of our R1T after 4 years of watching and 2 years of waiting for our order. Did not notice any glaring gap issues but curious about hood alignment and gear tunnel doors. Hood seems to be recessed back a few millimeters. When I checked 2 other R1Ts on the lot they seemed to be aligned the same way. Gear tunnel doors are not flush with the rest of panels but Guide said it was so they could be grabbed to open when latch pressed. They stick out a bit out from the rest of the panels, a bit noticeable when viewed from the back of truck when looking closely. Trying to decide on whether to list on service request but won't bother if these are normal alignments.

What was strange is that R1T has production date of 2/23 and based on dirt in crevices and around spare tire well it had been sitting awhile. Surprised it hadn't been allocated or delivered earlier. However, pickup-up at Capitol Heights service center was easiest car transaction I've ever had.
Heading out for a weekend trip so we'll see how it goes and can evaluate the truck further. Will already say I'm not a huge fan of display, and taking some time to get used to not powering vehicle on/off. Definitely going to be a learning curve and probably unfairly comparing to our EV6 where Kia goes overboard with display customizing options. Also, is there anyway to show the current efficiency on the Driver display or on the main display without using the trip function? Be nice to see how I'm doing as I drive.
Thanks to everyone on the forums who have given information and feedback over the years. It's been an invaluable resource as we made the decision to order sight unseen and to keep up to date on Rivian.
