guides start reaching out this week. People
They've also been driving a decent number of vehicles around testing them. Speculating is just going to drive us nuts with guessing. If there is an issue, they'll communicate it when they're ready. If not, they'll communicate when they're ready.Just going to throw it out there, this is filling a minor lack of information with a huge amount of assumptions. Rivian has in fact had two early vehicles (Vin 1 and 2) drive South America to LA 2 years ago?. They have also since had their vehicle in the Rebelle Rally along with a myriad of other testing leading up to South America, and since. It's pretty safe to assume that they know how far these vehicles can go (or could go) prior to announcing numbers. Also, Rivian has the largest battery packs of any manufacturer to date, so I'm sure its going to go the distance.
To your point, sorta, terrain will have a huge impact on range. I hope everyone here isn't expecting 300 miles on highway and 300 miles on a dirt road or overlanding. In saying that, I can see the "thats not the 300 miles they said" comments when it comes up it get 200 off road
